Biography

In 2015, Etheridge joined the staff of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in the Student Services section, while also pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in English – Professional Communications. During this time, Etheridge also served as an editor for her college newspaper.

Shortly after joining the Student Services section, Etheridge began assisting the Instructional Services Division with social media posts, and website posts.

After graduating in 2017 with her degree, Etheridge pursued her interests in the Curriculum Development section.

In her current position, Etheridge still assists with the Instructional Services Division social media posts, and the website posts. Etheridge continues to utilize various skills to develop and update online training courses for all public safety personnel. Recently, she helped create the “Start the Conversation” documentary discussing public safety stress, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, line of duty deaths, suicide, and best practices for public safety agencies.

Etheridge also assisted with the development of the Georgia Crisis Intervention Team for Telecommunicators Course.
