Biography
Scott Robertson currently serves as a Firefighter Lieutenant and Paramedic for Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services. He has over 17 years of experience in the fire service. Robertson has been an active member of Gwinnett’s Swiftwater Rescue Team for 12 of those years while receiving numerous awards for heroism.
Using the state of Michigan’s firefighter explorer program as a springboard, he began pursuing his dreams of becoming a firefighter at the age of 16. Within two years, he had become a certified firefighter. Having a strong sense of community and helping others, Robertson worked as a volunteer for the Grand Blanc Fire Department.
Robertson will be obtaining his degree in Fire Management from Mott Community College with an expected graduation date in 2020.
